Your career at Deutsche Börse Group

Your Area of Work
You will shoulder responsibility in one of the world’s leading international organizations for financial markets infrastructures. In a dynamic, client and technology-oriented environment you will oversee the accounting of some of the Singapore based entities of Deutsche Börse Group, doing day to day accounting tasks, preparing monthly/quarterly accounts as well as year-end (statutory) ones. Furthermore, you will have to deal with related matters to support tax topics, annual audits, regulatory reporting and management decisions.


Your Responsibilities
• Handling the day-to-day operation of the Singapore entities
• Accounting (Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets)
• Accounts reconciliation and Intercompany reconciliation
• Prepare statutory accounts for various corporates as well as regulated Singapore based entities including branches of European companies
• Perform month end closing process including delivery for group accounts on various levels
• Work on special accounting tasks on an ad hoc basis
• Support preparation of deferred tax and tax computation
• Handling the quarterly GST computation and submission
• Handling regulatory reporting and submission
• Direct dealing with tax advisors, internal and external auditors


Your Profile
• Degree in Accounting or Professional Certification in Accounting
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in Financial institution/regulatory reporting will be advantageous
• Knowledge in SAP system will be preferred
• Good accounting knowledge – especially on IFRS and SG GAAP
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
