Field of activity
You will shoulder responsibility in one of the world’s leading international organizations for financial markets infrastructures. In a dynamic, client and technology-oriented environment you will be in charge of the accounting of some of the Singapore based entities of Deutsche Börse Group, doing day to day accounting tasks, preparing monthly/quarterly accounts as well as year end (statutory) ones. Furthermore, you will have to deal with related matters to support tax topics, annual audits and management decisions.
- Handling the day to day operation of the Singapore entities
- Accounting (Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets)
- Accounts reconciliation and Intercompany reconciliation
- Prepare statutory accounts for various corporates as well as regulated Singapore based entities including branches of European companies
- Perform month end closing process including delivery for group accounts on various levels
- Work on special accounting tasks on an ad hoc basis
- Support preparation of deferred tax and tax computation
- Handling the quarterly GST computation and submission
- Direct dealing with internal and external auditors
- Degree in Accounting or Professional Certification in Accounting
- Practical experience in accounting or regulatory reporting
- Good accounting knowledge – especially on IFRS and SG GAAP
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Dedication, team and communication skills, flexibility as well as competent handling of MS Office applications
