Your area of work:

 

Responsible for all Asset Management activities in the Facility Management (FM) function, you will report directly to the Head of Facility Management, have a proven track record of experience in Asset Management, preferably within a property or Facility Management function. Experience of asset management software applications and their effective use, integration with finance systems and asset reconciliation. You will be a resilient and strong character with the ability to drive improvements and with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.  

 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

 

  • Responsible for asset management process within the FM function, specifically in relation to Furniture, and technical services & building fabric

  • Creating and maintaining a ‘strategic asset management plan’ (SAMP)

  • Compliance with intercompany asset management requirements & liaison with Finance department in relation to asset valuation

  • Asset purchasing, asset classification, asset tracking and asset disposal

  • Asset delivery, receipt, storage, stock control and placement

  • Entry and maintenance of asset information into asset database / software application, as well as annual asset inventory reconciliation

  • Asset management software system implementation and maintenance

  • Ensure the asset management processes meet the business objectives

  • Communication and management of the asset management processes and data within FM team

  • Train, develop and up-skill all connected parties in relation to asset management process

 

 

Your profile:

 

 

  • Higher education achievement with minimum of 2 years of relevant expertise into previous operational Asset Management role

  • Appropriate certification / diploma qualification in asset management via professional body such as ‘Institute of Asset Management’ (IAM)

  • Member of appropriate professional body such as Institute of Asset Management

  • Understanding of building design and building technical assets

  • Experience in budgeting, finance control

  • Knowledge of ISO 5501 Strategic asset management planning

  • Effective communicator

  • Good organisational skills, with attention to detail

  • Ability to effectively prioritise and work under pressure to meet targets & deadlines

  • Good analytical skills, problem solving, can-do attitude

  • IT literate with MS Office applications, as well as SAP and asset management software

  • Fluent in English, French or German considered as an asset
