Your area of work:
You will be working in the area of accounting. Your scope will include the accounting for German corporations in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB(RechKredV)), the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and year-end closings under the applicable law and the related quality controls. Furthermore, you will support projects of the business areas with your accounting knowledge.
Location: Frankfurt or Luxembourg.
Your responsibilities:
Accounting for corporations in accordance with HGB (RechKredV)/ IFRS,
Monthly and quarterly closings
Preparation of annual reports
Supporting the business units with regards to the management reports
Handling subjects/questions mainly concerning HGB (RechKredV),
Provision of information to the management of the respective company
Active cooperation with accounting colleagues in other locations
Liaison with the internal and external auditors
Your profile:
Certified Accountant or University degree in Accounting
Proven track record (+3y) in a similar function
Profound knowledge of HGB, as well as IFRS
Extensive experience with SAP ERP, especially SAP FI
Mandatory proficiency in written and spoken German and English language
