REGIS-TR is a central trade repository for trades and transactions across multiple product classes and jurisdictions. The trade repository is open to financial and non-financial institutions and services all of the major regulatory reporting obligations in Europe. REGIS-TR collects and administers details of trades and transactions reported by its clients to give market participants and regulators an aggregated view of positions in compliance with the appropriate regulations. REGIS-TR is already progressing well towards its goal of becoming a one-stop-shop for regulatory reporting requirements, complementing its core services.
Field of activity
This role is within the Business Development team in REGIS-TR, the leading European central trade repository. The Business Development team is responsible for sales and client relationship management, with the remit to ensure: the continued growth of the REGIS-TR franchise; and it retains its position as the leading EU based TR. The Business Development Officer is an integral part of the team reporting to the Head of Business Development and with direct responsibility for overseeing sales activity and reporting. This is role offers significant development and the opportunity to travel.
- Support the Head of Business Development and Relationship Managers for sales initiatives and sales campaigns to expand our business and market footprint
- Responsible for modelling client pricing, responding to RFPs, RFIs and DDQs, maintaining the questionnaire database and managing the lifecycle of those deals
- Management and oversight of the sales pipeline
- Support the Head of Business Development with the evolution and execution of the sales strategy
- Deliver ad hoc / regular MI reports and Business Development updates to the Executive Management and the Board;
- Refresh / produce sales presentations and sales collateral;
- University degree in economics, finance, banking and/or a comparable education
- 1-2 years’ experience in a client or sales support role
- Superb organisational skills, flexible, result oriented, fast acting
- Excellent communication skills; customer, and service orientation
- Language: Fluent English mandatory; knowledge of an additional language (French / Spanish / Italian would be advantageous)
- Strong technical expertise; good MS Office application knowledge, especially PowerPoint and Excel, essential
