Your area of work
Digital Transformation & Business Intelligence (DT&BI) initiates and facilitates sustainable improvements to increase quality and efficiency across the Area Clearstream Global Operations. DT&BI combines tailored process improvement methodologies with insightful business intelligence.
The Unit Business Intelligence generates these insights and reportings using standard reporting tools and proprietary developed applications (“Local Applications”).
As BI Analyst you will work in the Business Intelligence team providing business areas with data analytics and reportings using Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel based on local applications. With these insights you will support business areas to increase quality and efficiency and to comply with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Create new and maintain existing Local Applications (using Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel) covering the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Create and maintain documentation including functional analysis, user guides, test plans and technical specifications
- Potentially in future, deliver insightful dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
- Closely communicate and collaborate with business owners and IT
- Comply with internal policies and standards in a regulated enviroment
- University degree or equivalent in business, computer science or comparable
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in a comparable role
- Profen sound experience in VBA development (Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel) and SQL in both Oracle and Microsoft environments
- Sound knowledge in database infrastructure and data modelling
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI is a plus
- Knowledge of the financial services industry is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively on different levels within an organisation
- Good analytical, conceptual, communication and problem-solving skills
