Field of activity

IT Infrastructure & Operations ensures the implementation and operation of shared IT infrastructure for all companies of Deutsche Börse Group (DBAG). We operate out of Eschborn (Germany), Luxembourg, Prague and Chicago. 

We are looking for a Process Control analyst who is self-starting, with a high level of ambition and has a track record of getting projects done.

The successful candidate will have experience in understanding and/or management of IT audit, IT risk and control, and compliance. They will have a proven record in designing, implementing or managing IT risks and controls, and ideally has operational experience in IT infrastructure area/services. The successful candidate will also have proven experience of working as a team player in a matrix organisation and has a talent to manage diverse groups of stakeholders to reach actionable agreements.

 

Tasks/responsibilities

  • Coordinate audit engagements across I&O department in a form of project management including designing and controlling task lists, deliverables and timelines, with ability to challenge effort estimation of various groups throughout the project life-cycle
  • Represent I&O in meetings with internal and external audit functions
  • Interpret the audit requirements into IT requirements for the I&O team
  • Translate existing I&O processes into structured documented form with identification of the internal controls
  • Create process documentation from scratch including description of relevant process risks and controls
  • Align process descriptions with I&O Managers responsible for delivery of I&O services, and take a leading role in projects which trigger changes in process documentation 
  • Interpret the relevant laws and regulations and translate them to the requirements for I&O department
  • Consult and share the knowledge on controls, risks, and processes with respective team members of the I&O department.
  • Take a leading role in projects which trigger changes in identifying risks and controls in I&O processes 
  • Drive the evolution of the process map to reflect current or new business models and accommodate existing models to the future technological delivery models
  • Cooperate with outsourcing coordinators when transferring service descriptions into outsourcing contracts


Qualifications/required skills

  • You have completed your university degree in Computer Science, relevant Business Administration, or equivalent years’ experience in a relevant role.
  • You have a good understanding of IT Infrastructure
  • You have a good understanding of audit methodology and/or were performing audits
  • You understand the regulatory framework for IT operations at banks or CSDs, such as MaRisk, BAIT, CSDR
  • You can translate abstract laws and regulations into practical IT requirements
  • You can describe concisely IT processes and procedures
  • You have experience in audit, risk, compliance, IT or IT security roles and working within a large matrix organization
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; French or German language skills would be considered an asset
  • You have a high degree of communication skills and working within a professional environment
  • You combine independent action with effective team co-operation and working
