Field of activity

The Clearstream Fund Centre AG is a fast-growing business within Clearstream/Deutsche Börse group and manage legal, administrative, and financial relationships with external fund provider companies on behalf of the fund platform for business partners. You would be positioned within the Platform Operations section at the Clearstream Fund Centre AG in Zurich and would be supporting the day-to-day processes and procedures carried out by Client Services. 

These will include, but are not limited to answering client queries, onboarding, validating external reports, troubleshooting, and representing the team with the implementation of internal projects. This is a client facing role and you will have direct interaction with external business partners. 

 

Tasks/responsbilities

We are currently looking for a Client Service Executive to join our Client Service team within Platform Operations at Clearstream Fund Centre AG. As a Client Service Executive, you will be primarily responsible for the following tasks:

  • Manage the operational onboarding of new B2B business partners – both Asset Managers and Distribution Partners
  • Collaborate with new and/or existing business partners to onboard new funds to the platform
  • Act as the first point of contact for our business partners via the completion of day-to-day queries
  • Assist with the maintenance of the client hotline during business hours
  • Develop long standing relationships with business partners as well as internal colleagues
  • Provide support to the sales/business development teams by conducting internal and external research, analysis, and investigations
  • Represent the client service team as a subject matter expert in meetings (both virtual and in person) with existing business partners as well as prospects
  • Perform monthly/quarterly performance and reconciliation tasks
  • Provide input on how to improve the operational efficiency of current tasks and support the Platform Management team in enabling the automation/digitalisation of tasks
  • Support the team lead in the development and ongoing optimisation of internal processes with key internal stakeholders at Clearstream

 

Skills/qualifications

  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience in servicing B2B business partners
  • You possess a Bachelor’s degree in a financial, business or science-related field
  • You have a good understanding of the financial services industry and the funds industry in particular
  • You have a general knowledge of Banking and Asset Management; additional expertise in the Fund Platform/-Distribution business would be a plus
  • You possess excellent communication skills with a client orientated attitude
  • You have strong communication skills, resilience, sovereignty and team spirit
  • You are a very good problem solver with analytical skills
  • You have superior command of MS Office applications, in particular Excel
  • You are able to understand internal systems and CRM tools
  • You are self-motivated and able to work both independently, as well as within a larger team
  • You are well-organized, accurate, proactive, conscientious and resilient
  • You are fluent in German and English; additional language skills are considered an asset
