Your area of work:
As a «Communications Specialist», you will be part of our Corporate Communications & Engagement team in the Group Communications & Marketing area. The team develops and executes communication strategies and the core messages for Deutsche Börse Group's corporate divisions CEO, CFO, CIO/COO and Governance, People & Culture. In addition, we create and maintain the standards and execute key initiatives for Deutsche Börse Group’s corporate responsibility and citizenship efforts. Our main goal is to define, safeguard and advance the brand through coherent, innovative and appropriate communication and to position our top management as thought leaders in their field of expertise. 
In your role, you are responsible for the Group’s corporate wording and corporate engagement. Using your expertise in German and English, you support the team in creating impactful communications for our various stakeholder groups and assuring their quality according to our corporate wording guidelines. With diligence and enthusiasm for administrative tasks and a passion for corporate responsibility, you handle all corporate engagement enquiries and assignments observing any requirements, policies and processes involved.
(This position is initially limited until March 2025.)

Your responsibilities:

  • You act as a central contact for internal stakeholders in any aspects of corporate wording, using your linguistic expertise (English, German) to provide quality control of high-level texts e.g. for the annual press conference, the annual report and the annual general meeting, and to maintain the Group’s corporate wording guidelines and terminology.
  • You are responsible for the effective administration of the Group’s corporate engagement, including the preparation of the corporate engagement report and the review and update of the corporate engagement policy as well as other related processes and policies.
  • You provide expertise and support in the development, coordination and realisation of Group-wide and specialised communication activities and projects.
  • You use your administrative skills to manage the unit’s working students and interns and to deal with various administrative tasks.

Your profile:

  • You have completed your university degree in economics, business studies or humanities, translation or a comparable qualification.
  • You have a good knowledge of corporate processes, apt planning skills and the administrative ability to successfully manage concurring projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • You are proficient in written and spoken German and English, thus being able to provide expert quality control and terminology maintenance.
  • You have excellent organisational and administrative skills. 
  • You have very good MS Office application knowledge and learn how to use new applications easily.
  • You have an open and creative personality, dedication to the tasks you are given – and you are a team player.
