Your area of work:

As a Communications Specialist, you will be part of our Pre-and Post-Trading Communications team in the Group Communications & Marketing area. The area is responsible for the positioning of all Deutsche Börse Group entities in internal and external communications. The Pre- & Post-Trading team develops and executes communication strategies and the core messages of the Group’s subsidiary Clearstream and its entities and is also responsible for the alignment of all communication activities of the Group’s entities ISS and Qontigo. In your role, you will join us in defining, safeguarding and advancing Clearstream’s business activities, through coherent, innovative and appropriate communication and positioning our top management as thought leaders in their field of expertise. Your focus will be on advancing Clearstream Fund Services in Luxembourg but also at its other worldwide locations - the organisation delivers state of the art solutions to standardise fund processing and to increase efficiency and safety in the investment funds sector, with a full range of order routing, settlement, custody, distribution and data services for mutual, exchange-traded, and alternative funds.

Your responsibilities:

You act as a spokesperson for Clearstream with a focus on Clearstream Fund Services and coordinate and take care of media inquiries
You are the interface between the company and external media representatives and constantly expand and maintain our network with them
You actively place business topics and management in relevant media while developing strong narratives
You use the full range of communication measures and tools to define and deploy core messaging
You are responsible for the development, coordination and execution of campaigns and projects that support the brand narrative and enhance Clearstream Fund Services’ internal and external positioning
You act as central contact for internal stakeholders and coordinator between the respective business division and Group Communications & Marketing
You advise your stakeholders on adequate formats and content to appropriately position both the respective business division and its management
You build up a comprehensive knowledge of our product and service offering as well as the business and regulatory environment

Your profile:

University degree in economics, business studies, communications or journalism studies, or a comparable qualification
Relevant experience of at least 3 years in a B2B environment, ideally in the financial services industry
Strong interest in economic, financial, and technological topics
High communication affinity and expertise in both traditional and social media; experience in an international media relations role or journalism
Excellent writing skills and ability to tailor formats and content geared to the respective target group
Project planning skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders in a complex and international environment
Open and creative personality, international mindset, high degree of motivation and interpersonal skills
Eagerness to learn and to take on responsibility
Fluency in written and spoken in English; German and French language skills very favourable.
Good knowledge of MS Office
