Corporate IT of Deutsche Börse Group oversees end user workplace experience, voice & communication, application development and operations for all group processes such as Financial Core, Customer Care, and Control & Corporate Processes. We also develop and operate our Enterprise Analytics and Digital Boardroom which are the core of sharing and measuring our group’s success. Our mission is simple – Make IT Run!

About our Graduate Programme 


State-of-the-art IT solutions are at the heart of all Deutsche Börse Group’s business areas. We are focusing on building up new technologies and further strengthening our position as one of the leading technology providers for capital market infrastructure businesses. Within our IT division we develop and operate electronic trading systems, provide IT solutions to our clients all over the world and run our internal IT landscape with the latest technology.

Our 18-month Graduate Programme is designed to provide you with a diverse range of work experiences across various teams and projects and allows you to rotate from initial placement within the IT Service Desk to selection of one of the two following dynamic streams that you will rotate through.  


Depending on your interest you can set your focus and actively create your future career path and complete your rotation in:

Non-SAP Development (Development / Project Management & Cyber Security) (Option 1) 

  • Group Automation 
  • Project Portfolio & Shared Initiatives IT

SAP Specific Areas (Application Development/Configuration) (Option 2) 

  • Revenue Collection IT 
  • Finance IT 
  • Group Compliance, Risk, Audit IT 
  • Procure2Pay, Facility, Contract Mgmt. IT 
  • Treasury & Liquidity Management IT 
  • Cloud Application Operations 

What Are We Looking for in a Graduate? 


You are passionate about technological advancement and innovation? You want to get to know our information technology division from various perspectives? And match the below criteria then our IT Graduate Programme might be just the right fit for you. 

  • You are due to graduate from an IT related discipline (at least NFQ Level 8) or have graduated from in the past 12months.  
  • Positive attitude to learning.  
  • Good problem-solving skills.  
  • Good interpersonal skills, working well independently and in a team environment. 
  • Knowledge with ERP systems would be an advantage but not essential.  
  • System Networks knowledge / experience would be an advantage. 
  • Proactive with strong organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative. 
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. 
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Work as a part of a diverse and friendly team atmosphere.

  • Mentoring  

As part our programme rotation, you will be matched with an experienced manager acting as your personal mentor and supporting your personal and professional development throughout the whole programme. You will also have access to our “Meet your mentor” platform where our business mentors contribute their knowledge, proficiency, and experience to assist mentees who are working towards the achievement of their own objectives. 


  • Personal Development & Trainings.  

Your personal development is an integral part of the programme and will be promoted. As such, you will benefit from onboarding, technical and soft skills trainings as well as being able to avail of our internal training modules.

Step 2 

In this stage, you will have an interview with senior managers from cross functional departments to determine your fit for the programme while also offering candidates the opportunity to ask questions and explore the possibilities available.  


After successful completion of an interview, we will send you feedback shortly afterwards.
