Your career at Deutsche Börse Group

Your area of work:
As part of the Cyber Protection – Detect & Prevent unit, you will be working in a team of engineers distributed between three locations, Eschborn, Luxembourg and Prague. Your time will be divided between driving detection of malware and side projects to improve the company products. In addition to malware detection, the team provides top-level service for Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), Host/Network Intrusion (IDS/IPS), Web Application Firewall (WAF), and Security Information Event Management (SIEM).

Your responsibilities:

Continuous development and testing of detection and response content and tooling
Drive the improvement of our detection and response framework, methodologies and lifecycles
Analyse malicious events and campaigns to determine attack vectors
Expertise in Reverse Engineering and Malware Analysis is a plus
Guidance and support for analysts in release, implementation and tuning phases
Contribute to the planning, review and lessons learned of Blue, Red and Purple Team engagements
Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions
Contribution to the improvement of environmental detection and response pre-requisites

Your profile:

University degree in IT, business informatics, or comparable education
Experience in malware detection, analysis and reverse engineering
Experience with TrendMicro Deep Security, Microsoft security products (e.g. Microsoft Defender) and Illusive
Development experience with malware analysis automation, such as IDA plugins, sandboxing, triage tools, etc...
Coding (Python preferred) and debugging
Experience with public cloud platforms, e.g. Google Cloud Platform (preferred) and Microsoft Azure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills, reliability, and direct responsibility
Ability to firmly present complex topics in an understandable manner
Identifying current and emerging technology issues including security trends, vulnerabilities and threats
Conducting proactive research to analyze security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies
Proficiency in written and spoken English, same in German is a plus
Additionally, you need to be a team player with good communication skills, highly motivated and flexible.
