The New Digital Markets Team is the Center of Excellence for the identification and implementation of new business models leveraging innovative technologies such as DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology), Cloud and others. Main focus of the team is to further develop and progress the D7 digital post-trade platform.
In your new position as D7 Internal Readiness Lead within the New Digital Market team of Deutsche Börse you will be leading the internal readiness team of the D7 program, which is part of the D7 Transition management.
In your new role you will be especially responsible for being the first point of contact for business operations for all D7 business related topics necessary for the implementation of new or upgraded products, including trainings, creation of business manuals, contingency action plans, definition of Business Target Operating Model and ensuring proper system accesses for the business operational units. Furthermore, you will act as a middleperson between product development units and business operational units, collecting and documenting the changes (processes, systems, tools, and applications), creating the list of all impacted teams, planning, and coordinating business transition and cutover activities. You will coordinate formal acceptance of new D7 products and processes, prepare the internal organization for new products and processes trig-gered by D7 and provide a proactive contribution to achieve synergies amongst different D7 streams. This role offers the opportunity to work in a multicultural team across different locations and includes room for personal initiative and ideas. Your role will be key in the further development of the D7 platform by ensuring compliance with internal processes, legal framework, and regulatory requirements for the introduction of new functionalities, products, and services.
Your responsibilities
- Being responsible for the preparing the internal organisation for new products and processes triggered by the D7
- Initiate, conduct, and coordinate the Material Change Process for all D7 Changes
- Coordinate a formal acceptance of new D7 products and processes in the organisation, including the acceptance by various committees
- Being a first point of contact for business operations for all D7 business related topics necessary for the implementation of new products, including trainings, creation of busi-ness manuals, contingency action plans, ensuring proper system accesses for the busi-ness operational units, new or updated Business Target Operating Model.
- Being a middleperson between product development units and business operational units, i.e., coordinate business related activities from change project to run (operations)
- Collecting and documenting the changes (processes, systems, tools, and applications) and create the list of all impacted business units
- Planning and coordinating business transition and cutover activities
- Provide a proactive contribution to achieve synergies amongst other D7 streams
- Lead the internal readiness team
Your profile
- University degree or similar in Business Administration, Legal, Economics, or comparable qualification
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in a bank or other financial institution related to organisational readiness and new product processes or similar
- Having knowledge and understanding of topics around dematerialized securities, issu-ance processes and digital assets would be an asset
- Experienced in the management of internal and external stakeholders
- Experienced in the preparation for different committees
- Ability to track, prioritize, and support multiple tasks successfully, while meeting challenging deadlines in a constantly changing environment
- Team player with a pro-active attitude and excellent analytical and communication skills with a tolerance for ambiguity and complexity
- Willingness to take on responsibility and comfortable with working independently
- Having very good knowledge of MS Office, in particular SharePoint, Power Point and Excel
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English (German would be an asset)
