Field of activity

Corporate IT of Deutsche Börse Group is in charge of end user workplace experience, voice & communication, application development and operations for all group processes such as Financial Core, Customer Care, Control & Corporate Processes, as well as Deutsche Börse Group’s Reference Data Platform. We also develop and operate our Enterprise Analytics and Digital Boardroom which are the core of sharing and measuring our group’s success.

At Reference Data Services we focus on collecting, validating, and distributing reference data from internal and external sources required to run our broad business.

As a Data Architect, you will be an essential part of the Reference Data Services team. You will define the data architecture for our IT systems based on business and data needs. Furthermore, you are a central part of the design and improvement of data services. Your strong communication skills allow you to collect the requirements and bring your data architecture picture into the whole section.

 

Tasks/responsibilities

  • You will define and implement section data strategy
  • You analyze process and data catalogs together with respective specialists and derive technical impacts
  • You design and implement data architecture
  • You setup data management
  • You design and setup data models
  • You design data services

 

Qualifications/required skills

Mandatory

  • Master‘s degree in Computer Science or similar field
  • At least 3 years of experience as a data architect as well as cloud technologies
  • Data driven thinking and strong analytical skills
  • Strong communications skills, own initiatives, able to work independently and excellent analytical skills round of your profile
  • Resourceful and self-sufficient, ability to work independently, and propose creative solutions
  • Proficient in English (verbal and spoken). German is an asset.

Preferably

  • Programming knowledge (your development peers use Golang and Python)
  • Knowledge of the financial industry, e.g. related to business of Deutsche Börse and Clearstream
