Your area of work:

The FA&C Area is responsible for defining, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive ESG Reporting & Internal Control Framework for Deutsche Börse Group (DBG). This includes oversight of the ESG data collection process and continuously improvement of the ESG reporting internal control environment to ensure consistent, accurate and timely ESG information as well as auditable and efficient reporting processes. Furthermore, the Area drives the identification, advisory and implementation of new ESG reporting and disclosure practices, based on a deep understanding of requirements from regulators, investors and sustainability actors.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual ESG Report preparation including information and data gathering, content development and external assurance
  • Ensure alignment with ESG disclosure requirements and best practices. Identify potential challenges and proactively address them to ensure timely and high-quality results
  • Create internal alignment and awareness within the functions and governance structures regarding the preparation of reports and other submission and coordinate the reporting process, reporting requirements and action plans to improve ESG reporting and disclosures by liaising with stakeholders of all levels
  • Continuously work toward improving the ESG reporting processes and related internal control environment to ensure ESG data reliability, accuracy and audit-proof reporting processes and internal controls
  • Collaborate closely with the business units and key internal leaders, data owners, technical functions, internal audit and external assurance providers to maintain a well-controlled, standardized internal reporting processes for ESG and to ensure accurate and timely reporting and disclosure of the ESG data and information

 

Your profile:

  • You have completed your studies in sustainability management, business economics, business engineering or similar qualification with a solid background knowledge in handling ESG reporting and ratings
  • You are familiar with ESG related regulations and frameworks (EU taxonomy, SFDR, CSRD, NFRD, GRI, TCFD, etc.)
  • You have first professional in-house and/or consultancy experience and ideally experience in ESG management
  • You have excellent language skills in German and English as well as expert knowledge in MS Office (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Your independent and structured way of working, agile mind-set, as well as analytical skills help you manage new requirements easily and successfully balance interests of all internal and external parties. You will need to be able to move between multiple audiences and contexts in a deft manner
  • You are able to interact effectively with stakeholders of all levels, enjoy working in cross-functional teams and projects and are keen to implement and steer governance processes
