Your area of work

 

In your role as Expert Credit Middle Office (Level 4), you will ensure that business activities are conducted within a prudent credit risk framework that is consistent with the bank’s credit appetite and in compliance with regulatory and supervisory requirements.

As part of the group-wide Credit team, you will closely work with various stakeholders, provide support to the management, and respond promptly to demands for credit information and advice from the business areas. Additionally, you will play a key role in the successful completion of ongoing Investment Funds projects and the implementation of CFCL Credit based in Luxembourg.

 

Your responsibilities
  • Take a leadership role in the implementation of CFCL Credit, encompassing the setup of new credit policies and procedures, active participation to workshops, preparation and review of business and system requirements, as well as the testing of credit relevant systems and tools.
  • Act as point of contact in matters related to CFCL Credit for the management, regulators, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee outsourced CFCL credit activities and ensure that such activities are completed to the highest standards.
  • Participate in senior management meetings and committees. Contribute to the implementation of the strategic targets of the unit.
  • Support the team’s development by sharing knowledge and constructive feedback that encourages professional development. Make sure that information and knowledge are shared transparently.
  • Contribute to regular credit activities performed by the team, including credit data management, collateral management and reporting, procedures review, upgrade, and development.

 

Your profile 

 

  • University degree in Business, Accountancy or Banking & Finance
  • Significant experience in credit risk management, preferably in an international banking/securities processing environment
  • Very good knowledge of relevant regulations in the context of the tasks & responsibilities above
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, fixed-income instruments, and investment funds
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and planning skills.
  • Highly motivated, proactive attitude, willing to work in shifts and assume additional assignments
  • Strong command of English is mandatory, the knowledge of French and/or German is an advantage
