The Clearstream Fund Services IT (CFS IT) department are seeking a talented and dynamic individual to act as Finance Business Partner for our IT team, reporting to the Director / Head of Section for CFS IT Shared Services as part of the overall Controls & Assurance Function. The successful candidate will take responsibility for budget planning and financial reporting; and will act as liaison to a number of stakeholders across the financial control community.
Your Responsibilities
- Take a lead role in managing the financial supply chain to CFS IT, working with various stakeholders to ensure budgets are prepared with necessary rigour to request budget transfers for projects and IT operations.
- Supervise the CFS IT controls and assurance team’s efforts around monthly close activities such as goods receipts, IT purchasing, management of accruals and other activities effective monthly/quarterly close tasks. Act as escalation point to ensure actuals are managed to a sufficient accuracy.
- Responsible for the accurate delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of actuals vs forecast.
- Liaise with People Managers and Project Managers to accurately report and forecast internal project costs and actuals.
- Drive monthly reconciliation and work with Project Managers and Project Management Office to identify deviations and assist with re-forecasting efforts.
- Liaise with IT leadership team to understand and manage unexpected financial effects, and to document deviations to forecast for financial controlling.
- Liaise with all finance stakeholders, within the IT community and across the wider Clearstream and Deutsche Boerse finance community, to assist in wider finance control activities.
- Act as Finance Business Partner to the CFS IT community, assisting management and project managers to find solutions to budget issues.
Your Profile
- Bachelors Degree with significant finance/commercial focus or equivalent professional qualification or experience.
- 5+ years of experience in budget and finance management/control is required, including monthly/quarterly/annual planning and reporting.
- Experience with budget planning including Capex/Opex, Projects/Operations, Internal/External budgets across multiple cost centres and projects.
- Strong experience with SAP including Cost Centre / WBS / WBS element planning; equivalent demonstrable experience in Oracle or similar enterprise-grade ERP will be considered.
- Experience as a Finance Business Partner to IT is desirable, but not essential
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
