Deutsche Börse Group is strengthening its position as leader in creating the marketplace of the future. The CIO/COO/Chief Technology Office area of Deutsche Börse Group is responsible for ensuring an effective alignment between Business and Technology Strategy whilst enabling Deutsche Börse Group to execute new Technology Opportunities. Business Management is part of the Advanced Innovation Section and is responsible for the financial planning framework and performance monitoring across the area working internally with the sections within the CTO area, central functions and with business product areas, other IT areas and DBG teams for the successful delivery of Deutsche Börse Group Strategic objectives.
Furthermore, the team supports contract and partner management, information security requirement coordination across CTO as well as managing compliance and risk requirements for the area.
You provide guidance for leadership and staff and manage an active dialogue between the stakeholders across all segments and functions. You define and govern CTO wide Best Practices and Standards and foster innovation by exploring and evaluating new methods of technology trends and apply automation.
To strengthen the team, we are looking for a committed and motivated support for the CTO Business Management team (f/m/d) to take responsibility in an interesting and dynamic international environment.
Your responsibilities:
- As part of the Business Management Team for CTO, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of tasks relating (but not limited to) business & cost planning and performance monitoring
- Prepare and manage business review meetings and financial reports to be used by the Management and committees
- Support the preparation of long-term financial planning of CTO including preparing and maintaining business / investment case
- Cost planning and monitoring versus allocated running budget
- Project Cost monitoring versus allocated running budget, escalating out of line positions and areas for reduction across change and restructuring projects
- Explore, suggest and implement process improvements, automation, machine learning etc.
- Initiate, plan and accompany change and restructuring projects
- Coordination of responses to RFPs and due diligence, corporate policy requests including intercompany reporting and risk assessments.
- Costs and Budget administration tasks including transfers, purchase orders, etc.
Your profile:
- Holder of a university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics or related
- 4-5 years of professional experience in an international Financial Services industry environment or similar
- Experience of delivery of strategic projects across functional teams is an asset
- Good knowledge of accounting and controlling terminology
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, good knowledge of quantitative tools and methods is mandatory
- Self-Starter, Entrepreneurial with a “can do” attitude; Ability to take the initiative to “achieve results” and strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to positively engage and develop relationships with multiple stakeholders across geographical locations
- Team player, flexible and well organized – able to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Good command of MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience in work with SAP modules (e.g., R/3, Analytics Cloud) mandatory
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluent in English
