As Functional Analyst – Cash Market Digitization (eListing) you will be the interface between the business and the IT department and have the opportunity to be creative and improve various processes in the Cash Market (Xetra/Börse Frankfurt) of Deutsche Börse.
Since the eListing team is responsible for planning, controlling and operations of software applications which cover the complete lifecycle of security listings in the cash market, you will be having deep insight into operations of an innovative exchange organization.

Your main responsibility will be to liaise with the various business departments of the cash market, collect their business requirements and transform them into technical/functional requirements to be implemented by the developer team. You will be coordinating the implementation as well as planning and performing acceptance testing to ensure a high quality of the final product.

Your responsibilities:

  • The most important part of your job is understanding the business behind the business process 
  • Based on this knowledge you will be collecting business requirements and transforming them into functional requirements, so they can be readily implemented by the developers
  • You will design new user interfaces/GUIs to ensure state of the art user experience  
  • You will coordinate the software implementation and will need to be able to deal with various obstacles in the course of the implementation process
  • To ensure a high quality final product, you will be planning and executing acceptance testing
  • You will be the application expert and supporting the business departments in case of questions during daily operations

 

Your profile:

  • You have a university degree and/or a comparable education
  • You already have a few years of experience in the IT or financial industry 
  • In your previous positions you have been the expert who is always asked for help
  • You are a self-motivated learner, who knows how to gather information on his/her own 
  • You are curious and eager to learn about complex dataflows 
  • You combine very strong data analytics with communication skills
  • You are focused and have a solution-oriented attitude
  • You are very proficient in written and spoken German language (at least C1 level) as well as English

 

The following will be a plus:

  • Experience with MS Visio or other workflow modelling software
