Your area of work

Join one of the world’s leading international clearing and settlement organizations as the Head of Unit for Regulatory Reporting in Luxembourg. In this exciting role, you will be at the forefront of a dynamic, client-focused, and technology-driven environment. Leading a team, you will be responsible for managing and developing our regulatory reporting software, ensuring compliance with amended legal requirements. Your expertise will drive continuous optimization of our systems from a business perspective, reflecting changes in our offerings through innovative reporting tools. As the regulatory landscape evolves, you will guide your team in translating external requirements into functional solutions while maintaining compliance with rules and internal controls. Additionally,   you will analyze the impact of business projects on regulatory reporting and accounting end to end, ensuring seamless  implementation and alignment with your team and other teams.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Act as a Deputy to the Director for Financial Accounting, committees, and for other locations
  • Oversee key Regulatory Reporting for various entities, including Statistical and CRR reports
  • Lead and manage a team of up to 10 talented professionals, fostering their growth and development
  • Maintain compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements, staying up to date with industry changes
  • Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvements and streamline processes
  • Continuously optimize and automate IT-based regulatory reporting
  • Collaborate on business projects, analyzing their impact on regulatory reporting and accounting, formulating requirements, and providing control and support during IT implementation
  • Foster relationships with auditors and regulators to ensure transparency and compliance

 

Your profile

  • Hold an academic degree in business administration or a similar field
  • Demonstrate 10 to15 years of proven track record in a similar function
  • Possess advanced knowledge of regulatory reporting and accounting, including IFRS
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and experience in team management (minimum of 5 to 10 years)
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting and accounting software and its technical-functional aspects
  • Excellent communication skills in order to manage multitude and diversity of stakeholders and Board Members
  • Fluent written and spoken English; proficiency in French is a plus
  • Proficiency in handling MS Office applications
