Field of activity 
Group Credit`s overriding objective is to ensure that business activities are conducted within a prudent credit risk framework that is consistent with the bank’s credit appetite and in compliance with regulatory and supervisory requirements. We are searching for the Head of Credit Risk Monitoring Unit to assume responsibilities for the oversight and reporting of credit risks across Clearstream entities, as well as maintenance and further development of Credit Risk Monitoring Framework. In your position, you will monitor various credit exposures targeting maximum settlement efficiency while ensuring that the level of credit risk accepted by Clearstream is in accordance with the bank’s credit policies, underwriting standards and regulatory requirements. You will also provide support and recommendations to the management.

Tasks / Responsibilities  

  • Leading and developing the team responsible for measuring, monitoring and reporting of credit risks.
  • Designing, developing and improving qualitative and quantitative frameworks for credit risk monitoring and control. 
  • Managing and overseeing implementation and adherence to the established risk control indicators and measures 
  • Designing and transforming credit risk monitoring infrastructure with the focus on efficiency, effectiveness and analytics.
  • Advising on the new business initiatives, projects and products of relevance to credit & counterparty credit risk.
  • Reviewing and assessing the impact of new regulations and guidelines on credit risk issued by relevant authorities in Luxembourg, Frankfurt and Singapore. 
  • Maintaining, improving and developing internal policies, procedures and guidelines. 
  • Maintaining credit risk and credit risk reporting inventory. 
  • Managing communication with the relevant stakeholders, by providing timely high-quality, reliable credit service and expertise.



  • Holder of higher education or equivalent professional qualification in the relevant discipline. 
  • Minimum professional experience of 5 years. Experience in leading a team is desirable. 
  • Good understanding of financial instruments, market and credit risk concepts, knowledge of the process of clearing and settlement is an advantage. 
  • Prior experience with the relevant risk management regulations (CSDR, MaRisk, CRR, CSSF Circulars).
  • Conceptual skills, proven ability to design and execute solutions.  
  • High commitment, solid interpersonal and presentation skills, ability to operate across various functions and business areas and stakeholders. 
  • Excellent communication skills, prioritization and time management skills.
