Your are of work:
As Head of Unit for IT Governance and Execution Management you will join the Deutsche Börse Group CIO team. IT Governance and Execution Management is a newly established Unit and part of the wider IT Governance, Risk & Transformation department.
The Unit will be instrumental in shaping the new IT Governance and Management Framework and continuously improving IT operations, as well as leading action and execution through transparent monitoring and reporting.
We actively support CIO management in decision making and provide smart and practical guidance to achieve IT excellence in line with current and future regulatory and technological developments.
- Lead a team of IT Governance Experts and Analysts with diverse experience and backgrounds
- Champion the development and maintenance of a new IT Governance & Management Framework
- Develop, measure and maintain KPIs with respective tooling and reporting
- Provide IT Governance subject matter expertise to the wider CIO community and establish yourself as the go-to-person
- Actively support presentations of results and suggestions to senior audiences
- Conduct team appraisals, foster team spirit, and enable people development
- You have completed your university degree in Computer Sciences, Business Administration, or similar
- You have at least 10 years of relevant professional experience in IT Governance and/or IT Risk Management, with 3-5 years spent in a managerial / team-lead role
- You ideally have proven project management skills in implementing policy frameworks
- CGEIT, CRISC or similar certification(s) preferred
- You are familiar with IT standards such as COBIT and ITIL
- You understand IT regulatory requirements
- You have experience with defining and measuring OKRs and KPIs
- You are open to modern technologies (e.g. Cloud, AI) and methodologies (e.g. SAFE)
- A proactive and hands-on mentality with emphasis on teamwork rounds off your profile
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; German language skills will be an asset
