HR Global Services provides high quality services to our internal customers, covering the whole employee lifecycle. Our diverse, international team is the central point of contact for our employees for all administrative HR services. The holistic support of our employees is our top priority and, in addition to traditional personnel administration, also includes our in-house payroll department.
In the role as a HR Administration & Payroll Taxation Officer (f/m/d), you will be part of our local team in Luxembourg. Together with an external payroll service provider you will be solely responsible for the pre – and post payroll activities regarding business trips in the EU and cross-border taxation of our employees. You will further provide ad-hoc support to our Payroll Specialist and HR Generalists on other employee lifecycle related tasks.
Together with further HR colleagues locally and abroad, as well as various IT departments, you will be involved in various HR projects, supporting us on our path of digital transformation and continuous HR process optimization.
Your responsibilities
Responsible for pre and post payroll activities in cooperation with an external payroll service provider for business trip taxation and German cross-border work from home activities
First point of contact for business trip taxation within the EU for our employees and the external payroll service provider in close cooperation with our Group Tax Department
Tax calculation for Belgium, French and German cross border employees for inhouse payroll
Tracking and analysing of new or changes within the regulation in regard to business travel and cross-border taxation
Prepare reports and reconciliation for finance department
Presentation / info sessions to employees on cross border and business trip taxation topics
First point of contact for tax control, internal and external audits in regard to the business trip and cross-border taxation
Support and back-up function on other personnel administration and Payroll input related task
Participation in national and international HR projects and assumption of special topics
Your profile
University degree or similar ideally a focus on income tax and/or human resources
Professional experience in a similar role, experience in an international company would be an asset
Very good knowledge of Luxembourgish income tax and social security
Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
First experience with SAP S/4 Hana, SAP SuccessFactors / Employee Central will be an asset
Hands-on mentality with a pronounced service orientation as well as a confident, friendly manner
Flexibility and quick comprehension of changing business requirements and processes
Ability to work in a team in an autonomous and diligent way
Creativity, analytical thinking, personal responsibility, ability to work under pressure and reliability
Experience in project management and the use of agile methods are an advantage
You are proficient in written and spoken English; French and/or German is a strong asset
