Your area of work

Clearstream Risk Management is responsible for the assessment, quantification and reporting of financial and non-financial risks of the Clearstream group. In this role, you will be part of the ICAAP Integration & Steering team. The unit is responsible for forecasting Clearstream’s capital position under the applicable regulatory regimes over a multi-year horizon, developing and quantifying adverse scenarios that could impact Clearstream’s capital position in future, steering ICAAP-related activities across Clearstream entities, and coordinating the regular risk reporting process to Executive management.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Support the automation and enhancement of reporting processes
  • Contribute to the preparation of ICAAP documentation and regulatory submissions
  • Support the development and maintenance of capital planning models and tools
  • Assist in the preparation of capital forecasts under baseline and stress scenarios
  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of capital metrics
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Finance, Risk, and Regulatory Reporting teams
  • Monitor regulatory developments (e.g., CRR, CRD, ECB guidelines) relevant to capital planning

 

Your profile

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or a related field
  • First experience (internship or up to 2 years) in risk management, capital planning, or financial analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as ICAAP, CRR, and Basel III is an asset
  • Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data tools is a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (German and/or French are considered an asset)
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills but also the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
