Your career at Deutsche Börse Group

Field of activity
Your internship placement will be within the Group’s Client Services Division, specifically the Eurex Trading & Clearing Key Account Management team. While the global team spans multiple geographical locations, the role will be located in our Chicago office, supporting trading & clearing members and their clients in the Americas covering North America, Canada, British Virgin Islands, and Bahamas. 



  • You will support the department with projects of strategic importance to the Group 
  • Perform research and data analysis
  • Write and edit documentation such as presentations, customer communications, internal and external process documentation
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and tracking activities 
  • Support customers with the onboarding & implementation of new products and services 
  • In addition to these exciting tasks you will gain insights into daily operations of the Eurex Chicago office and our client base across the Americas, as well as collaborate with our global teams


 Qualifications/required skills

  • Hold a Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in the fields of informatics, mathematics, physics, economics, business studies, humanities, or other relevant fields, with an excellent academic track record 
  • A demonstrable interest in capital markets.  Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the context of college education in the finance area.
  • Ability to plan, initiate and execute projects independently with ownership responsibility 
  • A confident team player with excellent social and communication skills 
  • Work experience or volunteer experience with relevant and transferable skills 
  • Attention to detail and advanced experience using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel & PowerPoint
  • The successful candidate should expect a high degree of responsibility at an early stage in an international work environment
