Your area of work

As an intern in our Eurex Sales team, you will gain valuable insights into the dynamics of global capital markets. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team that is Eurex's face to the market, supporting our sales activities across a diverse product portfolio that includes equity and fixed income derivatives as well as our repo markets.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • You will support the Sales team with daily projects, tasks, and client enquiries
  • You will analyse market trends and client data to produce valuable insights and findings to the team
  • You will assist in preparing and distributing key documents, including presentations and reports
  • You will gain insight into the clearing process for various derivative products and the core principles of central counterparty risk management
  • You will contribute to organising client events, conferences, and potential webinars
  • Additionally, you will support the team with administrative and organisational tasks

 

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled as a regular student at a state-recognised university, preferably in a field such as business administration, economics, finance, or mathematics. Furthermore, we offer the possibility of an orientation internship, whereby you are currently in a gap-year after your bachelor's or master's degree in the above-mentioned fields of study - in this case, an enrolment is not required
  • You have a strong and demonstrable interest in financial and capital markets across various asset classes
  • You possess very good knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI is considered a plus
  • You are a motivated team player with a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work
  • Ideally, you have already gained your first practical experience within the financial services industry, for instance through internships in the sales/trading/product & research area
  • You are fluent in English and possess good written and verbal communication skills in German
