As an international central securities depository (ICSD) headquartered in Luxembourg, Clearstream Banking S.A. operates the post-trading business – i.e. issuance, settlement and custody – for the Eurobond market and services for securities from over 55 domestic markets worldwide.


Your area of work:
Clearstream’s working processes are subject to the rules of the respective supervisory authorities in every country where it operates. As a licensed credit institution, Clearstream Banking in Luxembourg (CBL) is supervised by the EBA, CSSF and BCL (Banque centrale du Luxembourg) and must comply with financial, legal, regulatory and statutory reporting banking requirements. The Regulatory Reporting unit (functional analysis/project office) has a key role in supporting production and provision of financial and regulatory information and reports to Clearstream’s supervisory authorities. 
In your new position as an Intern (f/m/d), you will support the regulatory reporting implementation of a new legal entity within the Deutsche Börse group by providing technical and project management support.


Your responsibilities:
•    You will perform data testing and error analysis for supervisory and statistical reports.
•    You will verify if data processing results are compliant with regulatory requirements.
•    You will support project management tasks (e.g. project plan, activity list, cost estimation, duration estimation)
•    You will have to familiarise yourself with reporting applications which handle financial / banking data
•    You will apply your IT/project monitoring tools and application knowledge Citrix, Microsoft Office, Powershell/DOS, JIRA, database concepts to name a few
•    You will support the preparation of meetings/workshops with key stakeholders
•    You will collaborate with the IT department.

Your profile:
•    You understand banking industry, products, and processes
•    You have Banking and Finance qualification plus a good knowledge of contemporary information technology tools and applications
•    You are enrolled for the entire duration of your contract as a regular student at a state-recognized university in a master’s degree programme focusing on business administration or comparable fields. A bachelor’s degree is required. 
•    You are interested in the implementation of regulatory application within IT space
•    You have very strong analytical, database structure, large datasets, and problem-solving skills
•    You are a good team player with strong communication skills, and you have high-quality orientation and a can-do attitude with a proactive approach
•    You are fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus.
