Field of activity
The DBAG Internal Control System (ICS) team is responsible for defining, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive internal control framework for all entities of Deutsche Börse Group (DBG). This includes coordinating and guiding the implementation on entity level performed by local 1st and 2nd line of defence functions, providing training and support materials and monitoring / governing the overall ICS implementation from a Group perspective. Furthermore, the alignment of the internal control framework of Deutsche Börse Group with other frameworks, e.g. for Operational Risk, Business Continuity Management, Group Compliance and Group Security as well as ensuring continuous collaboration wth other control functions is a key objective.

Tasks/responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of an ICS Governance approach on Group level to oversee the effective implementation of the ICS Framework and the effectiveness of the ICS in all entities of DBG
Support the implementation, continued development and documentation of a Group-wide ICS framework, including the preparation and alignment of policies, supporting materials, guidelines etc.
Perform control assurance measures to assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls, in line with the group-wide ICS assurance approach
Support effective remediation of identified Control Deficiencies owned by the 1st Line of Defence, including the review of planned actions, the ongoing monitoring of implementation measures and the re-assessment after completion
Facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessments owned and performed by the 1st Line of Defence, including quality assurance and support
Monitor the overall effectiveness of the ICS and prepare ICS Reporting to senior and executive management

Qualifications/required skills

University or similar degree in a relevant field
Experience in Operational Risk Management or Internal Control – with a focus on financial services/banking/financial market infrastructure providers
Good knowledge of relevant regulation (MaRisk, CSSF 12/552, CSDR, etc.) and COSO, COBIT/ITIL frameworks
Strong analytical and conceptual skills, creativity, critical thinking, as well as ability to identify problems and propose solutions
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Knowledge of SAP GRC is an advantage
