Your area of work:

 

The CFCL IT department is tasked with ensuring effective operational service, availability and performance of the IT applications, infrastructure and workspace that support the business of CFCL, as well as contributing to the evolution of applications which support CFCL clients. The department is led by the Chief Information Officer who is a member of the Executive Board of CFCL. The IT function provides day to day oversight of service outsourcing relationships within Deutsche Boerse Group, and with external suppliers, monitoring SLAs and agreed KPIs in support of critical systems and services, and providing oversight on IT-related change programmes.

 

As IT Change Manager for CFCL, you will act as Change Portfolio Manager for CFCL (reporting directly to the CIO, and collaborating with the CFCL IT Service Delivery Management and IT Contract & Finance Manager), and you will take responsibility for oversight of BAU change, IT projects and IT programmes conducted by internal and external outsourcing partners. In this role, you will work closely with Product Management to clarify, classify and prioritise requirements from internal partners and clients, and provide regular reporting and oversight of the activities of outsourced project/release management and development teams in delivering changes to the CFCL Application and service landscape.

 

 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

 

 

  • Provide delivery oversight for all CFCL projects, managing project status and risk across budget, resourcing, timelines and other dimensions as appropriate.

  • Provide regular reporting on the project portfolio to the CFCL CIO and steering committees.

  • Support granular budget preparation activities across the CFCL change portfolio through workshops with outsource partners and CFCL Contract & Finance Manager.

  • Manage impact assessments for proposed changes to CFCL production systems as part of overall planning and budgeting tasks.

  • Drive the management of Risks, Actions, Issues and key Decisions for CFCL projects at portfolio level, working with partner Project Managers and workstream owners to catalog, manage and close all items in the RAID log.

  • Drive the Service Acceptance Certification Approval process (SAC) for IT projects, and provide granular change management and approvals for small maintenance projects (e.g. system upgrades) in consultation with business stakeholders.

 

 

Your profile:

 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an IT / Information Systems discipline or equivalent working experience in IT.

  • At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in the specification/delivery of IT projects, with 3+ years of direct project or portfolio management experience.

  • Excellent understanding of IT change and delivery management including budgeting, RAID management

  • Understanding of various project methodologies is required, PMI/Prince2 certification and/or practical Agile delivery experience would be advantageous.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong ability to interact with business and technical teams. French/German language skills will be an asset.

  • Previous experience with core banking systems and/or cloud services are considered advantageous.
