Within our Post Trade IT area we operate and develop the IT infrastructure, systems and applications of our post trading and issuance business as well as funds business.

The Central Post Trade IT Office acts as counterpart for all departments within and beyond the CIO/COO division regarding management, planning and future development of the Post Trade / Clearstream IT.


As IT Controller and Business Owner you enable in particular the Clearstream Fund Service (CFS) IT department (within Post Trade IT) and related Legal Entity (predominantly CFCL) managers to fully concentrate on their core competencies by leveraging on best-practice approaches for vendor management tasks and execution in a highly regulated environment.

Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the budget planning process for OpEx/CapEx, internal valuated hours allocation, Projects/Operations budgets

  • Analyse variances between actual and budgeted costs and provide comments on deviations for monthly reporting.

  • Identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements

  • Work closely together with line managers and project managers to steer the cash out, capitalization and cost

  • Align with your CFS business and Deutsche Börse Group counterparts on relevant topics

  • Act as Business Owner for the contracts of the IT related activities which are outsourced

  • Complete KPI reporting and the ICS role Process Operator for outsourcing contracts


Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience with budget planning as well as variation analysis and reporting.

  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to work with and interpret financial data.

  • Affinity for the IT function and ideally knowledge of the Clearstream environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SAP or equivalent financial software.
