As IT Governance, Process & Compliance Officer you will support the Central Office to provide transversal services for all Post Trade IT teams and Clearstream CTO(s). Our mandate as part of 1st LoD is to translate the multitude of regulatory and internal requirements into a harmonized IT governance structure and improved IT processes – building on best practice frameworks like e.g. COBIT. Together with the central functions of Deutsche Börse Group, we manage the compliance and risk of Clearstream IT. Driven by the constant change of the environment, this role allows you to develop new solutions with a high degree of creativity, own responsibility and visibility. From day one, you will have the chance to connect to senior IT management and to build your network in Deutsche Börse Group IT.

 

As a member of the Central Post Trade IT Office, you will have the opportunity to also support the section in further IT management tasks as well as special projects. The position is ideal to start and develop a career in a highly regulated and critical IT environment with a broad oversight over topics of a Product IT. It brings the opportunity to deepen your knowledge towards an expert or project manager role. Intensive training on the job and collaboration with IT management will ensure to build-up specific knowledge quickly.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

Depending on experience, interests and qualifications, your responsibilities will be the following:

  • Support Post Trade / Clearstream IT to achieve compliance with regulatory requirements (together with 2nd LoD) and with IT policy frameworks in a standardized and harmonized way

  • Maintain and improve the Internal Control System of Post Trade / Clearstream IT to support the continuous supervision of IT activities by executive IT management

  • Manage regulatory IT reporting and the creation of the Clearstream IT Strategy

  • Support Head of Unit in strategic initiatives around Post Trade IT Governance, Processes & Compliance

  • Manage external and internal audits, track external and internal audit items

  • Review and support the alignment of IT processes across Deutsche Börse Group

  • Support the management and monitoring of IT Risk

  • Interact with relevant stakeholders within Deutsche Börse Group and represent Post Trade IT

 

Your profile:

 

  • University degree or equivalent in IT or a related area

  • 2y of relevant experience in IT governance, IT processes and/or IT compliance/regulatory topics

  • Knowledge of applicable IT regulation and of IT frameworks like COBIT or ISO will be considered as an asset

  • Proven project management, social and methodological skills

  • Ability to work self-contained, independent and result driven

  • Outstanding analytical skills, intercultural competence and a hands-on mentality

  • Open-minded, willing to learn, active, highly organized, personality with attention to detail

  • Critical thinking including ability to identify problems and propose effective solutions

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English – French and/or German will be considered as an advantage

  • MS Office proficiency
