Your career at Deutsche Börse Group

Your area of work:
You will be responsible for the accuracy, timely operation and provision of computer systems and services toClearstream Services and Deutsche Boerse AG. You will be part of the team working in shifts covering 24h in theCommand Centre and be the primary contact for production support and escalation if problems in productionoccur.

 

Your responsibilities:
Set-up, monitor, control and validate all Clearstream production processing along with those of Deutsche Boerse.
This includes:

  • Systems monitoring across multiple platforms.
  • Rapid detection and reaction to production issues.
  • Incident Ticket Management: Effective and prompt communication/escalation contacting various supportteams as necessary in order to ensure alerts are properly managed.
  • Continuous Improvement: continuously review current processes to identify rooms for improvementincluding automation and job optimization.
  • Documentation: Create, update and maintain documentation related to monitoring operations.
  • Audit: ensure that all documentations used by the team including processes, SOP’s and work instructionsare complete, accurate and up to date.
  • Automation: look into ways to automate repetitive tasks and work autonomously with internal parties toimplement solutions.
  • Deadlines-awareness for core business applications.
  • Liaison and contact with different Support teams within Clearstream and Deutsche Boerse AG.
  • Assist your team to accomplish the required tasks.
  • Take responsibility in absence of other team members.
  • Ensure integrity of the production environment during working periods.

 

Your profile:

  • University degree, BAC+2/3 in an IT related discipline or equivalent through relevant work experience
  • A first experience will be considered as an asset
  • Operating Experience in LINUX/UNIX, Mainframe and Windows environments an asset.
  • Strong team-player as Operations Controllers currently work in 4 shift teams covering 24h but also able toachieve personal targets.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, autonomy within the Command Centre requisites.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure.
  • Customer Focus excellence attitude is key to the success of the position.
  • Team player with good communication skills, highly motivated, flexible and good at handling MS Officeapplications.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must. Fluency in French is desired and knowledge of German oran additional language is an advantage.
