Your Area of Work
The IFS IT Department delivers technology to support the Investment Fund Solutions (IFS) business in providing Clearstream’s services across all fund types, from mutual funds to exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and alternative funds.
The Project Manager is responsible to successfully manage the implementation of IFS products within the Project Plan and in accordance with the Deutsche Börse Implementation Methodology and client’s business objectives. The Project Manager takes the leadership in project planning, resourcing, progress reporting, project team management and troubleshooting.
As Project Manager, you will work on strategic projects related to the 2025 road map including new products, services, and migrations across multiple teams and entities. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding on the lifecycle of Funds and the underlying process.
As Project Manager, you will be expected to deliver complex multi-location projects with the best practices, and you will be responsible to:
- Ensure successful implementation of IFS projects
- Manage and support business transitions (technical and planning) and ensure proper governance and controls are in place
- Plan production migration with clients and IT teams
- Take full ownership of project scope, budget and timeline
- Analyze and manage project risk
- Track and report the project progress to PM governance and management
- Ensure that the reconciliation process of actuals against estimates works efficiently
- Report to senior management on a regular basis
- Ideally project management certification, PMI, Prince 2, AgilePM or equivalent
- Experience within financial services
- Experience on migration projects and client onboarding
- Knowledge of the investment funds industry would be considered as a plus
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; French/German language skills will be an asset
