Your area of work:
The Derivatives & Cash Trading IT department designs, builds, tests and technically operates state-of-the-art trading platforms and trading support systems for Deutsche Börse Group’s Eurex and Xetra markets as well as the markets of our partner exchanges. The department is also responsible for the technical operations of the clearing and risk systems for Eurex and Xetra. 
As Eurex Frankfurt IT Risk and Strategy Officer, you will be responsible for improving and maintaining the process map and internal control system for IT risk management and to monitor the relevant IT processes of Eurex Frankfurt AG. In addition you will be responsible for maintaining the IT Strategy and preparing the quarterly reporting for the CTO of Eurex Frankfurt AG. 

Your responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and update the process map and internal control system for IT risk management
  • Monitoring of the relevant IT processes from an IT risk management perspective
  • Report the results of IT risk management to the CTO of Eurex Frankfurt and prepare proper reporting to the board of Eurex Frankfurt AG
  • Maintain and update the IT strategy process and IT strategy of Eurex Frankfurt AG
  • Prepare the quarterly reporting on implementation of the IT strategy for the CTO towards the board of Eurex Frankfurt AG   


Your profile:

  • University degree or similar qualification
  • Expertise and practical experience in IT risk management in the financial industry
  • Expertise and practical experience in IT strategy matters in the financial industry
  • Strong communication skills and lateral thinking
  • High degree of teamwork, problem-solving skills and self-organisation 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German would be an advantage) with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
