Your career at Deutsche Börse Group

Area of work:

As a member of the Business Acceptance Unit, you will participate in the testing of software delivered to the Eurex Clearing AG applications. With functional knowledge and in cooperation with the functional analysts you will translate the implemented functionalities into test cases. You are responsible to develop manual and automated tests, which are used for testing the requirements of the Eurex Derivatives Clearing system. You will execute and document the test cases and report the results; to ensure that the regulatory requirements are fulfilled, and software can be introduced in production.
 

Your responsibilities:

  • Depending on the requirement write test narratives, defining the scope of the test

  • Develop manual test cases (for the GUIs, BE and other needed areas)

  • Develop test cases for interface changes

  • Develop automated test cases to be integrated in the existing regression test portfolio

  • Execute the test cases, log errors and follow-up fixes for the same

  • Report of the test results, creation of test statistics

  • Compile findings into status reports and presentations, which are used as the foundation for managerial decision-making

Your profile:

  • University degree, preferably in business/IT studies or comparable qualification

  • Basic SQL knowledge

  • Basic Python scripting knowledge

  • Knowledge in Clearing, Settlement and Collateral Management would be advantageous

  • Browser based GUI

  • Linux Application knowledge

  • JBOS Application knowledge

  • High commitment and motivation

  • Outstanding analytical skills

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, German would be advantage

  • High level of commitment, self-responsibility, agile working techniques, and enjoyment of working in multidisciplinary co-located teams

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication skills including presentation skills in English, German would be an advantage.

  • Additionally, you need to be a team player, highly motivated, flexible and good at handling MS Office applications.
