Our development team at the Eschborn site is looking for a reinforcement to meet the high demands on our low latency system; Our team is constantly looking to better and develop additional content for new business areas.
As a Junior Software Developer you will significantly contribute to Deutsche Börse Group overall strategy and shape the way towards establishing the Deutsche Börse Group as a top company.
Your responsibilities:
- You will jointly develop technical concepts based on functional requirements
- Framework-based software implementation and further development of applications/database design will be your primary focus.
- Creation, implementation, and automation of product tests for quality assurance as well as the technical support of further functional test phases will be part of your daily routine
- You will analysis of requirements from strategic initiatives for data analytics.
- You will help plan, conceptualize, and implement scalable and high-performance backend solutions for big data applications.
Your responsibilities:
- You have completed your university degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics, or similar areas of studies.
- You have very good knowledge of C++ under Linux
- You have a wide range of experience in scripting languages JavaScript, Perl, or Python
- You have good knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, Jira)
- You have a basic knowledge of cloud technologies or experience with at least one of the cloud platforms Azure, AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of inter-process communication and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP/Multicast, AMQP, MQSeries, Tibco Rendezvous, Kafka, Pulsar) enhance your portfolio
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; German language skills will be an asset
