Your area of work:
The Settlement IT Mainframe Operations department is operating for the Deutsche Börse AG the IT-infrastructure of the order routing procedures for the trading floor exchanges (Xontro) and providing the connected systems with real-time stock data for further processing.
The IT-infrastructure is based on the IBM mainframe processors, which are also the platform for clearing and settlements, vault management and corporation-wide SWIFT message traffic.
Your responsibilities:
- Production Support 2nd level for the applications in a 2-shift operation (Monday – Friday, 06 am – 10 pm)
- Planning and creating batch jobs, JCL, Shell scripting
- Creating file transfer on different platforms
- Implement and maintain the logging and alerting stack in OpenShift
- Support projects to onboard onto OpenShift and Azure
Your profile:
- University degree in the IT-area or comparable education
- We are happy to develop Junior colleagues
- Knowledge of cloud technology would be an asset
- RedHat Openshift, Github, Jenkins, Artifactory, Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana
- Monitoring tools on the Cloud
- Experience with z/OS systems would be an asset
- Team player with good communication skills, highly motivated and flexible
- Outlook and Microsoft Office skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English. German would be desirable
