Your career at Deutsche Börse Group

Your area of work:
The core network of our T7 trading system will be migrated from InfiniBand to Ethernet (RoCE/RDMA). It will be performed in a stepwise approach. You will learn the T7 infrastructure and participate in the preparation and execution of this migration. Beyond the migration you we will improve the internal communication of the T7 components and establish an outstanding monitoring of the core network. Finally, constant latency and high throughput are crucial for the T7 customers. You will be working on the analysis of performance and implement improvements. This requires deep understanding of the Linux kernel and willingness to learn and understanding the existing T7 components and its infrastructure. You will join a team of outstanding engineers.

Your responsibilities:

Migration to Ethernet: proactive participation in preparation, testing, execution and future maintenance
Improvements of the T7 internal network infrastructure
Analysis and implementation of proof of concepts of different low-latency projects
Performance analysis, tests and improvements for T7, including production support
Working on improvements of the T7 middleware software and internal communication
Working on monitoring solutions for T7 core component communication

Your profile:

Very good Linux skills, RedHat preferred
Deep knowledge in Linux-Kernel
C/C++, Python, Bash or any shell scripting language
Kernel offload (Solarflare Onload, DPDK)
RoCE/RDMA
Experience in performance analysis and improvements
Analytical skills, critical thinking and the ability to identify problems and propose solutions.
Good communications skills
Ability to work in a team consisting of outstanding engineers
A good command of English is a must, German is beneficial
