Your area of work
The Repo Trading Operations & Functional Design team is responsible for monitoring the fair and orderly trading of all electronic markets of Eurex Repo (GC Pooling, GC Pooling Select Invest, Euro Repo, Special, eTriParty, HQLAx) as well as the further development of the trading platform with regard to functional design. The team supports the customer during market opening hours with operational questions or problems with trading on Eurex Repo. A further and essential task is the administrative set-up of new customers and traders in the trading system as well as the daily maintenance of securities for the collateral basket. The team maintains and coordinates the post-trading interfaces for clearing and settlement downstream of the trading operations. The team also tests new and existing trading components and functionalities prior to a release launch and supports customers in their testing with the trading system. The team acts as a competence center for the functional design of the trading platform with regard to new markets, products and services in close coordination with the Repo Product & Business Development team.
- Operational monitoring of the Eurex Repo trading system for all markets (GC Pooling, GC Pooling Select Invest, GC Repo, Special Repo, eTriParty, HQLAx)
- Daily monitoring (quoting, trading) of the repo trading markets
- Customer support in the connection process
- Maintenance and administration of the customer database (participants, traders) and securities master data
- Customer correspondence in German and English (email, circulars)
- Telephone support of clients in using the trading platform
- Testing of new and existing trade components and functionalities
- Functional input/design of the trading platform for the further development and implementation of new markets, products and services
- Basic commercial training at a financial services company with initial professional experience in the securities sector and as a business analyst
- Very high resilience, self-motivation and ability to work in a team
- Professional English language skills (advanced level) in spoken and written form, knowledge of French is an advantage
- Independent, structured, very precise and customer-oriented working method
- High degree of team spirit and precise, structured work
- Ability to think in a networking way and understanding of pre- and post-trading processes
- Innovative personality who wants to play an active role in the further development of the trading platform
