Your area of work:
Physical Security at Deutsche Börse Group (DBG) is embedded within the Department of Group Security and ensures the mitigation of operational risks for all physical assets, including staff and buildings. As part of our team, you will take a decisive role in Physical Security Governance to maintain and develop business processes to ensure a holistic view on DBG’s security organization. The daily balance between operational tasks and strategic thinking offers you a wide range of opportunities to strengthen your security management expertise and foster your problem-solving and communication skills. We are looking for a hands-on Physical Security Specialist in the governance domain with excellent process-related thinking and a strong team spirit.

Your responsibilities:

  • Annual review of the Physical Security Policy and Standard.
  • Report on physical security processes and metrics, e.g. key performance indicators, key risk indicators, etc.
  • Regular review and development of Unit Recovery Plan and Business Contingency Plan.
  • Maintenance and development of Internal Control System, Business Impact Analysis, and Operational Risk Scenarios.
  • Internal and external audit support.
  • Collaborate effectively with other internal stakeholders, including Internal Audit, Outsourcing, Compliance, etc., building relationships which aim to embed the reputation and performance of Physical Security.
  • Provide support to the line manager on a variety of ad hoc tasks, including responding to emerging security incidents and administration.

Your profile:

  • 1-5 years’ experience in corporate security, asset protection, risk management, or other related fields.
  • A completed undergraduate degree in security management, geopolitical analysis or other related fields is required; a postgraduate degree is desirable.
  • Experience in process documentation and optimization are required.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required.
  • An independent and structured working approach is essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS 365, including Microsoft Office suite (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and SharePoint, is required.
  • Interest in new technologies, e.g. AI, and its impact on Physical Security processes.
  • High proficiency in English and German.
