Your area of work:
In your new position you will be working as Post-Trade Coordination Manager within the Deutsche Börse Cash Market Business Development Wholesale team in Eschborn. In this role your are managing all post-trade related topics along the post-trade chain for Deutsche Börse Cash Market, from trading into clearing and settlement.
As Post-Trade Coordination Manager you will be acting as a single point of contact for all Cash Market related post-trade topics such as strategy, projects (regulatory and infrastructure), products & services, governance, budget and processes. In your role you will build up a strong network, internal in Deutsche Börse Group (Eurex Clearing, Clearstream, IT division) as well as externally to third party providers in the clearing and settlement space. The role also comprises competivitve analytics of the European equity post-trade industry in order to factor in latest trends and developments in equity post-trade trading industry.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the Cash Market post-trade strategy and initiatives
- Lead, manage and monitor regulatory, infrastructure and strategic projects stretching from Xetra and Börse Frankfurt trading into the clearing and settlement layer
- Organize and define processes for cleared as well as non-cleared trade flows
- Act as a single point of contact for all areas involved along the Cash Market post-trade chain
- Understand revenues and costs associated with post-trade related products and services
- Conduct market and competitive analysis for the European cash equity post-trade industry to develop innovation and new services for our Cash Market post-trade offering
- Create presentations for internal management and external stakeholders
Your profile:
- You have successfully completed your university degree or similar in business, economics or a comparable degree
- You have at least 3 years of experience in European capital markets and the financial industry sector
- Initial experience in the post-trade industry in clearing, settlement or custody either with a bank or a financial infrastructure
- You have the ability to track, prioritize, and support multiple tasks/projects successfully, while meeting challenging deadlines
- You are a strong networker and team player with a pro-active ‘can do’ attitude and excellent analytical aas well as communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset, with a tolerance for ambiguity and complexity
- Your willingness to take on responsibility as well as the ability to work with a high level of autonomy with a Strong customer and service orientation round of your profile
- You are fully proficient in English and German
