Key data for the position:
In your new position, you will become part of the Product R&D Fixed Income team, which is part of the Derivatives Product Development department.  
In close cooperation with clients as well as strategic partners of Eurex you will focus on the development and implementation of Fixed Income derivative products.
Furthermore, you will support the implementation of strategic initiatives participating in Eurex’ core projects.
Eurex’ headquarter is located in Germany; the future candidate will be located in London or Frankfurt and report to the Head of Section, Product R&D Fixed Income. The position requires travelling mainly in Europe. The compensation package will commensurate with the position and the requirements with a good bonus potential.


Responsibilities:
-    Assessment of market trends and competitor product ranges, both in OTC and listed derivatives, to develop innovative products and business solutions in the Fixed Income & FX derivatives space
-    Development of new Fixed Income & FX derivatives products including research, analytics, preparation of business plans and market testing
-    Direct communication with market participants and strategic partners of Eurex to develop new products and market entry strategies
-    Management of the product development and implementation process across various functions including legal, risk, trading and clearing system design and operations 
-    Management of the initial product roll-out process including the coordination with marketing and sales
-    Monitor introduced products to derive and implement necessary changes and measures to increase liquidity
-    Support the development of a strategic direction for exchange listed Fixed Income derivatives 


Qualification/Skills:
•    At least 5+ year’s experience in trading, sales or quantitative development in OTC and listed Fixed Income derivatives from a leading investment bank, asset manager, or hedge fund; deep knowledge of FX/Rates markets and FX/Rates derivatives is a must
•    University degree in economics, sciences, engineering or finance with a strong focus on financial derivatives – or comparable education
•    Strong and broad product knowledge across asset classes and financial instruments, including OTC and listed derivatives, with a technical depth in derivatives with a focus on FX/Rates derivatives is a must
•    Strong quantitative and analytical skills  - previous financial modelling experience required
•    Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to delve into the weeds to develop and build the franchise
•    Strong business acumen with the ability to comprehensively prepare a new business initiative including a balanced assessment of its risks, opportunities and any associated costs. 
•    Deep knowledge of market and competitor trends with a good understanding of the legal and regulatory framework of derivatives, including ISDA frameworks for OTC derivatives
•    Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and relationships with internal stakeholders including senior management
•    Excellent team player, able to interact effectively with various functions within the Deutsche Börse Group and the ability to build consensus and manage resource and timeline conflicts
•    Superior communication skills with the ability to present results both orally and in writing as well as a very good command of MS Office applications including VBA and C++ an advantage
