Field of Activity

 

Reporting to the Head of Issuer CSD Services, you will take a senior role in the Issuer CSD Product Management team as the Product Specialist Sales Representative.  In your role you expand relationships with existing customers by directing and supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow one or more assigned product lines, in particular the European Issuer Portal as offered via Clearstream Banking Frankfurt and LuxCSD (Luxembourg) as well  issuer services developments in new technology (such as D7). As Product Specialist Sales Representative you support the Issuer CSD product line success, you close on qualified opportunities referred by the Business Development, Product Management, Sales Representative, Relationship Management, or other sales personnel, while actively collaborating with these team members. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.

 

Tasks/responsibilities

 

  • Present, promote and sell Clearstream’s Issuer CSD products (European Issuer Portal, eMISSION, LuxCSD, D7) and services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyse the market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback

 

Qualifications/required skills

 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Representative
  • Proven networking capabilities in a multi-national environment
  • Ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • International post-trade industry and applied business experience
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
  • High Proficiency in written and spoken English and German, French as an asset

 

Additionally, you need to be a team player with good communication skills, highly motivated and flexible.
