Deutsche Börse´s Market Data + Services business supports capital market participants in their digital transformation. It provides Data Services to members of the financial community worldwide. MD+S is the home of all relevant data from Deutsche Börse’s trading platforms like Xetra or Eurex, as well as renowned index-brands DAX and STOXX. The Data Services department develops, maintains, and markets all of Deutsche Börse’s data, amongst them the proprietary market data of Deutsche Börse and its cooperation partners. In addition, we provide a leading set of analytics and sophisticated metrics for both investment and trading strategies applying modern statistical methods, big data analytics and machine learning. Our clients are the leading financial organizations worldwide, amongst them the leading investment banks, hedge funds and specialist providers of financial information.
The Quantitative Analytics unit is responsible for Deutsche Börse’s suite of analytics products such as the Eurex & Xetra HHI, Flows, and Open Interest as well as the A7 Analytics Platform. As quantitative analyst (f/m/d) you will create new analytics offerings, improve existing ones, perform custom analyses for internal and external customers, and answer customer inquiries. To maximize collaboration within the team, this role requires at least three day per week on site in Deutsche Börse’s headquarter in Eschborn.
Your responsibilities:
- In collaboration with Deutsche Börse’s subsidiaries, develop world-leading analytics offerings using public and proprietary data for internal and external clients
- Take ownership of a product over its lifecycle: research, stakeholder approval, specification, prototype, implementation, sales support, regulatory approval, client onboarding, customer inquiries, maintenance, and incremental improvements
- Extend the capabilities of the A7 Analytics Platform and its ecosystem
- Design the necessary security architecture and entitlement concept to enable the use of non-public data on A7
Your profile:
- You have completed your university degree in a STEM field, computer science, economics, finance, or similar degree in a relevant field
- You have at least 5 years of experience writing software in an enterprise setting (preferably in the financial industry), desired programming languages in order of preference: C++, python, JavaScript, SQL in a Linux environment
- Experience with data engineering and system architecture incl. cloud technologies in privacy-sensitive settings
- Experience with time series data, preferably level-3 tic market data, feed and line handlers
- Ability to manage a variety of stakeholder groups
