Deutsche Börse Group is one of the largest exchange organizations worldwide. Information Technology designs, builds and operates the technological infrastructure of the company. These highly integrated and automated IT systems are essential to our success. The Settlement department is responsible of real-time banking applications in the post-trade processing area of Clearstream/DBAG.

We are looking for a skilled ReactJS Developer to join our team located in Prague. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing the frontend for an existing real-time core Clearstream and Settlement engine. The candidate will have a key role in the design and development of the frontend, will have significant influence on how the application is built and is expected to lead the development activities and other developers.

The application ecosystem is designed as a real-time massively parallel system composed of many microservices communicating via ActiveMQ, GRPC and Oracle Advanced Queueing messaging systems. The application uses GRPC interface with backend written in C++ and Oracle. The deployment will be done using OpenShift.

While the production environment is restricted to ensure high stability, the development environment is very flexible to support individual developer's desires regarding IDEs and tools.

This approach enables every developer to create one or multiple private GCP machines with custom setup ensuring high comfort and work efficiency.

On the development side, we leverage technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, GCP and AWS cloud technologies, DynamoDB, serverless computing, Jenkins (CI/CD) etc.

Your responsibilities:

Broad range of development activities including (not limited to):

Participate in the ICSD Settlement Development team in the creation of new WEB GUI solutions for our existing real-time core Clearstream and Settlement engine
Analyze and review requirements in close collaboration with the functional analysts.
Design, code, write unit tests and document the different parts of the software for which you are responsible.
Build automation and related tools wherever needed
Integrate new Web GUI with existing framework
Collaborate with other stakeholders to develop the technical/functional software requirements
Create high-level specifications and design of the new Web GUIs solution
Communicate the concepts, the development approach and guidelines to the development team
Provide technical guidance to the development team, monitor the development progress and the consistency with the design and the guidelines.
Support all end-to-end testing activities, including support to functional and business testers.
Communicate regularly on the progress of the various developments and proactively report any problems

Your profile:

At least 3+ years hands-on experience with ReactJS, Redux, TypeScript
Good programming skills in HTTP / HTML / CSS, JavaScript / JSON, relational databases
Familiarity with development and scripting under Unix/Linux
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Ability to work across several development streams
Ability to work in a cross-location international team and strong communication skills
Strong result-oriented mindset and willingness to learn new methods and tools

Following knowledge is a plus:

A background in financial markets, clearing or banking
JetBrains Webstorm, REST web services, C++, SQL
Git and GitHub, JIRA
Public cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GPC…)
