Your area of work
Trade Venue Regulation & Governance supports the trading venues of Eurex Deutschland, Frankfurt Stock Exchange and Eurex Repo as well the exchange operators Eurex Frankfurt AG and Deutsche Börse AG in complying with applicable regulatory frameworks, designs and implements solutions to adequately meet regulatory requirements. Thereby it carefully balances requirements of markets and regulator’s interests and continuously reviews its effectiveness. 
The unit Regulatory Framework & Implementation focusses on assisting business units in complying with the legal framework and if necessary, drives implementation of required changes to internal and external rulebooks as well as internal guidelines and processes. In addition, the unit supports and implements strategic initiatives and central projects including processing of findings from internal and external audits within Eurex and the Cash Market.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Conduct independent analysis of new and/or amended regulations to assess their applicability and impact on the cash and derivatives markets
  • Coordinate, manage, and implement the regular self-assessment in accordance with Art. 48 MiFID II, continuously considering all relevant changes
  • Regular and ad-hoc reporting to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the United Kingdom, acting as the primary contact person
  • Support the performance of the annual due diligence assessment of the members of Eurex Deutschland and Frankfurt Stock Exchange in accordance with Article 7 of Commission Delegated Regulation 2017/584
  • Serve as contract person for internal and external audits and assume the role as audit coordinator
  • Presentation of relevant information and topics for information and/or decision-making to the Management Boards of Eurex Deutschland and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as well as other committees where applicable
  • Maintain and continuously enhance the Internal Control System


Your profile

  • University degree in economics, law and business administration or other completed training opportunities
  • Experience in the financial industry and good understanding of Eurex/Deutsche Börse Group, in particular the cash, derivatives and repo markets, their structures, functionalities as well as products are an advantage
  • Knowledge of financial market regulation (in EU and/or USA) or regulatory framework conditions affecting the financial market is an advantage
  • Your profile is rounded off by excellent communication and organizational skills, along with resilience and the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and German
