Risk IT is an IT Product of Deutsche Börse. Our team focuses mainly on providing IT solutions for Eurex Clearing, the clearinghouse of Deutsche Börse. We help to maintain and further develop Eurex Clearing’s industry leadership in risk management and support the growth into new products and markets. In short: We are at the heart of the Deutsche Börse Group’s market infrastructure offering and of utter importance for the stability of the global financial market.

Risk IT is now looking for a new Executive Assistant (EA). The EA works directly with the Head of Risk IT and helps to manage all administrational and coordination duties in an efficient and smart manner making use of the latest software and tools supported by the company. Moreover, the EA helps to ensure a smooth preparation of committees and management decisions as well as designing and executing department townhall meetings. The role is generally designed to foster a fast development from an administrational focus to a co-ordinational role in the area of Clearing and Risk Management such as e.g. project manager. However, we can discuss more details according to your individual development preferences.

 

This opportunity is open to flexible working arrangements. Such as working from home, flexible or compressed hours, and part-time.


Your responsibilities:

  • Support Risk IT lead in running through administrative and coordination tasks in an efficient manner. Look for smart solutions minimizing manual interventions, maximizing effectiveness and implement them. 
  • Coordinate preparation of committees and management decisions, follow up with involved team members and monitor timelines and dependencies to projects/initiatives. 
  • Drive preparation of management team offsites and regular townhall meetings and help to continuously improve presentation formats 
  • Support strategic projects of Eurex Clearing/Deutsche Börse Group by means of acting as a SPOC for Risk IT

 

Your profile: 

  • Willingness to learn, proactive approach to personal development e.g. understanding the business model of Deutsche Börse and Eurex Clearing respectively, working on reporting-, presentation skills and project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business informatics or similar. Alternatively, a minimum of 3 years professional experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken German and English
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Natural curiosity with respect to understanding of financial markets, the DBAG/ECAG business model and latest developments in new technologies
  • High results orientation, reliability and setting high standards for quality of work products


The following skills would be a plus:

  • Experience in executive assistant roles, preferably as part of an IT team in the financial sector
  • Experience with management reporting, risk management, audit and compliance would be an advantage
  • Czech language skills will be an asset
