Your career at Deutsche Börse Group

As Securities Clearing Operations Officer, you operate and control electronic securities clearing systems to ensure proper clearing of trades across all cleared asset classes and financial products. Our customers desire the most efficient securities clearing processes for derivatives, equities, and repo trades, to ensure proper fulfilment and functional management of their obligations in line with applicable rules and regulations of relevant global and local authorities.

Being responsible for functional operations of our core clearing systems along the process chain of Deutsche Boerse Group, Securities Clearing Operations run efficient settlement processes and is responsible for emergency and incident management as well as escalation up to senior management level 24/5.

Besides a proper execution of a daily clearing house business, you will be in contact with international customers from financial industry by providing support via our dedicated helpdesk. You will be working closely together with our headquarters in Frankfurt as well as other units of Deutsche Boerse Group located in London, Chicago, and Singapore.

Your responsibilities:

- Support compliant and efficient clearing house operations of Eurex Clearing AG
- Execution of standardized clearing and settlement processes, including monitoring of corporate actions
- First level support and helpdesk for clearing members
- Transaction processing within the default management process
- Supervision of the Eurex Clearing production and simulation environments

Your profile:

- University Degree, preferably in a field of finance, business administration or economics, or comparable qualifications/experience
- Experience in financial industry is a plus (e.g., Bank, Insurance, etc.)
- Understanding of financial markets and their functions
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently in a diverse and international environment
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English

Additional information:

We have a standard 8 hours workday, with flexible shift schedules ranging from 7:00AM to 8:00 PM (including Public Holidays).
Our shift schedules are agreed upon within the team, allowing for a collaborative and supportive work environment.
