The Senior Account Manager is a key leader within Clearstream Global Funds Operations, responsible for managing a client team, and a range of key clients. They are critical to the success of our client relationships.   They will ensure the delivery of high quality services across our Investment Fund range to our valued clients.  They will also look to lead and promote the company culture which values the importance of our People, Customers, Result and our external Community. 


Reporting to the Head of Section, the Senior Account Manager (SAM) is primarily responsible for the day to day management of a Client facing team. The SAM efficiently manages resources to achieve business objectives and leading a team of managers to ensure the highest standard of work is completed and that all key areas are handled in a timely manner whilst keeping risk to a minimum.


Your Responsibilities

  • Build strong successful relationships with our clients. Manage client service delivery and service provision to agreed standards.
  • Lead a team of Account Managers and ensure individual, team and department objectives and targets are set, communicated and actively managed.
  • Act as a point of escalation both internally and for clients, providing timely advice, support and coaching as necessary.
  • People Management – Forward thinking management style and approach, empowering staff,  driving results and building a high performing team. Overall ensure Clearstream is a great place to work for our valued employees. 
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset and promote this culture within your team to seek out and implement better ways of achieving objectives, preventing issues reoccurring, and automating and streamlining processes. 
  • Liaise and build relationships with counterparts in other Clearstream locations.
  • Review and approval of departmental reporting. Collate, analyze and produce statistics and reports on the team’s client feedback for Senior Management.  
  • Promote awareness and ensure adherence to all policies & procedures within the team and ensure team procedures are documented.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and prevention. Facilitate the prompt resolution of complex client issues.
  • Lead Projects as necessary. 
  • Travel as necessary where face to face meetings are required; discuss goals and objectives, project discussions, client visits, etc 
  • Contribute to the overall CGSS success and footprint in the Cork location. 

 

Your Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the Financial Services/Funds industry, 
  • Experience in liaising with clients and troubleshooting client queries.  
  • Experienced people manager with proven ability to develop and mentor team members
  • Proactive and highly motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem solver with excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
