Within the CTO area we operate and develop the group-wide IT infrastructure (network, data centers and Cloud), the Group Data & Advanced Analytics and the Enterprise Architecture which significantly contribute to Deutsche Börse Group overall strategy. Drive transformation, leverage innovation while keeping production operations stable are the core pillars of the services provided by the CTO area.
The CTO division enables all CIO/COO divisions with technology and data services.
For our Reference Data system, we are looking for a senior Functional Analyst with diverse range of skills to help us with the further development and maintenance of one of our critical and core applications as well in the transformation of our critical application to a modern architecture running in the cloud.
At our project you will have the opportunity to touch various stages of development from design to implementation. You would be part of a growing and diverse project team which support and appreciate the added value you will bring to our team.
Your responsibilities:
- Be the point of contact for our internal stakeholders across various business locations
- Plans, coordinates, and creates written documentation that clearly describes the needs of the business which includes business requirements,
- business use cases, user stories, system specifications, and process models
- Support the release lifecycle as needed, issue resolution, hot fix, resolution for all project incidents
- Stay up to date on release plan, new features, provide effort estimates, and delivery plan
- Manage individual project priorities and deadlines
- Mentor and lead junior FAs and new colleagues in the on boarding process and building skills and talents in the team
- Collaboration with Developers/Functional analysts and provide relevant support (own product and cross-product)
- Keeping meta data in data catalog up to date for all fields according to requirements
Your profile:
- At least 3 years of practical experience as a Functional Analyst
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Good knowledge of databases and SQL
- Experience in using GitHub, Jira, MS office tools
- Experience in an agile environment and the development life cycle, solution design, requirements description, implementation, test
- Solid multi-tasking abilities and project management skills
- Positive with can do attitude
- Curious with ability to learn, collaborative working style
- Well structured, communicative, flexible, and able to help improve processes and culture
- Responsible and enjoy teamwork
